Back to School Blessing
 
We love to support our students and teachers going back to school for a brand new year.  What better way to support them than through prayer.  We’ll pray for each student and teacher on Sunday, September 4th as well as give you a plan on how you can pray for our students all year long.  Come hear about the special student ministries that MHC has to offer.  
 
Pizza on the Hill – September! 
Join us for fresh brick oven pizza picnic style!  Yard games, volleyball, time with family and a great view.  Invite a friend to join you.  Saturday, September 17th from 7-9pm.
MHC Ladies – Table Time!
Ladies…friendships are one of the most important things you can have in life.  Join us on Friday, September 23rd for a meal with 8-10 other ladies.  New and old friends, great food and amazing conversation will make this evening worth your time.  Mark it off on your calendar and click here to register today!

Summer Sunday School
This class is the next step in the fulfillment of our desire at Mercy Hill to be ministers in our city throughout the course of our everyday lives. This time will be perfect for teenagers and adults alike who desire to learn and receive practical training in ministry and grow in their desire and ability to build the kingdom of God. *Note – there are no kids classes running concurrently to this time; but we don’t view kids as an unwelcome hindrance! Parents, it’s all good… Worship Service to follow @ 10am.

Fasting & Prayer Thoughts 1/20/16

 

Hello Friends,

Here are today’s prayer and fasting thoughts brought to you a little later in the day.

In Acts chapter 9, we read the story of Saul’s dramatic encounter with the Lord. This one event not only transforms the life of one man; but is also the catalyst for the expansion of the church that we read about in the New Testament. We pick up the story as Saul is on the ground:

Acts 9:8 Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing. So they led him by the hand into Damascus. 9 For three days he was blind, and did not eat or drink anything.10 In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. The Lord called to him in a vision, “Ananias!”
